Project Description

The project involved the supply and installation of structural steelwork for 5 new extensions, linking the body storage area within Block 62, to the paint shop Block 99. The works were carried out within a live environment of the Jaguar Land Rover factory.

Working in this environment, and under extremely tight programme deadlines, some works had to be undertaken with continuous 24/7 working for over two weeks.

Due to the nature of the structures, specialist equipment was used for accessing connections and installing the frame, these included 135ft cherry pickers and mobile self-erecting tower cranes. As part of the scope of works on this project, we also provided staircases within the existing structure.
