Project Description

Working in conjunction with Morgan Sindall (Ipswich Office) we completed the supply and installation of structural steelwork to form the new sports centre in Basildon.

The scope of works included, structural steelwork, metal decking, off-site Intumescent painting, pre-cast grandstand seating units and temporary edge protection. Features on this project included, 33m long triangular trusses formed using fully welded circular hollow sections, which were erected over the new swimming pool, 33m long x 1200 deep curved Westok rafters to form the new sports hall roof and the new grandstand wave roof.
